In good standing with all major government initiatives

Transam Carriers is very proud to be part of a great number of programs designed to make transportation safe, secure and worry-free. Among them are CTPAT, FAST, PIP, CSA, ACE, and ACI. The accreditations allow our customers to feel confident with Transam as a carrier as we navigate through the border requirements on client's cross border shipments.

Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (C-TPAT)

Known in full as the Customs-Trade Partnership Against terrorism, the CTPAT Certification ensures that Transam Carriers spends minimal time during cargo inspections when crossing borders. In instances where there is a mandatory inspection at the border, the certification does give our Transportation Team a priority status. This means that your goods will arrive faster since little time will be spent during the inspection.

Free and Secure Trade (FAST)

As you may know, shipments can get held up at the border for hours or even days, depending on the amount of paperwork and verifications to be done. However, since Transam Carriers does have a Free and Secure Trade (FAST) certification, then the chances of your goods being held up at the border are minimal. You should know that our carrier company, together with our drivers, have achieved a low-risk status after assessment. Therefore, our trucks often cross the border without having to undergo lengthy inspections.

Partners in Protection (PIP)

Thanks to the Partners in Protection (PIP) certification, our carrier company is recognized as a reputable company by the Canadian Border Safety Agency. This is because we do uphold the highest security standards when transporting goods. As a result, your goods will arrive at the destination in time and safely.

Customs Self Assessment (CSA)

Customs Self-Assessment (CSA) Program is responsible for the oversight of eligible goods leaving or entering Canada. However, for low-risk carriers such as Transam, the border crossing process for CSA eligible goods is pre-approved. Therefore, zero delays.

Automated Commercial Environment (ACE)

Automated Commercial Environment (ACE) is a customs and border protection initiative run by the US Government. At Transam Carriers, we are part of the ACE System, because our company complies with all of the US regulations. This means that your goods will arrive on time without enduring any delays at the border.

Advance Commercial Information (ACI)

Advance Commercial Information (ACI) certification allows us to send details regarding the shipment even before we arrive at the Canadian Border. As a result, when we get there, we don’t spend much time on paperwork.

SmartWay Transport Partnership

The SmartWay Transport Partnership (STP) is a program aiming to assist carriers to minimize fuel costs and improving the mode of transporting goods. Having an STP certification translates to reduced and affordable transportation costs to our clients.
